Ministering to the unique needs of men in the church, enabling them to fulfill their potential as servants of God, strengthening the total ministry of the church.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast: MCC men gather on the third Saturday each month for breakfast and fellowship. We gather at Mia’s Cafe in Madison at 7:30am. All men are invited to join us for this event.
Men’s Annual Fish Fry: Every spring the MCC men host a fish fry to help feed the community and raise money for missions of the church.
Men’s Annual Pancake Breakfast: Every fall the MCC men host a community wide pancake breakfast to raise money for children’s and veterans’ programming.
Veteran’s Steak Dinner: Every year on the Sunday closest to Veteran’s Day, MCC hosts a steak and baked potato dinner for the community. All veterans eat for free. It is hard work cooking steak dinners for 300 people but our men love what they do and we love to honor those who have served. In 2020 during COVID, we pivoted and continued to honor our Veterans with drive thru take-n-bake pizzas and cookies!
Regional Men’s Retreat: Each spring Disciples men from all over Alabama and Northwest Florida gather for a weekend retreat of fellowship, prayer, study, and worship. Our retreats are held at Rolling Hills Retreat in Calera, AL.
